Summer School 2017-12-17T14:14:13+00:00
“As we look ahead into the next century, leaders will be those who empower others.”
Bill Gates

Great leaders are aware of their strengths and weaknesses, and find ways to lead from their strengths and compensate for their weaknesses. Great leaders think, speak and act according to a leadership story.

Purpose:

to provide participants with the inspiration, connections, and tools needed to initiate and implement socially conscious projects. Participants will come away from the 12 days summer school with clear and implementable project plans.

This program is  designed to be partly a school/partly retreat,  meaning that participants  will not only come away with functional tools for project design and implementation, but will gain support or/and inspiration for the journey  of  creating  and  implementing  socially   conscious  projects  in  the  non-profit world.

The program is funded by ERASMUS+ program

Therefore, participation is free of charge for participants coming from Armenia, Lithuania, Sweden and Turkey. We are looking for 5 participants from each country. Travel costs will be reimbursed after the participation in the summer school. All the practical details will be communicated to the selected participants.

We can accept up to 10 participants from other countries, however, you would need to pay 600 EUR participation fee which includes accommodation, food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), local transporation and other costs related to the training course. The fee without accommodation is 270 EUR (includes food and local transporation).

Yasir Syed
Yasir Syed
Founder and director of the foundation Culture Clash4U- The Netherlands

Everything that happens in the universe has an impact on every thing in this world, and every action of every single individual in this world has an impact on the whole universe. This principle has always been part of my DNA as a change maker. I have been a social entrepreneur and social innovator now for more than 15 years and have devoted my life in translating global challenges into local actions around the globe. Besides my own foundation, Culture Clash4U, which has been very active in youth work, gender equality, talent development and human rights education in the Netherlands and across Europe for almost 12 years, I also have initiated several civil actions and social enterprises in almost 60 countries. Yet I feel that we have barely scratched the surface and lot of works needs to be done. I truly believe that in order to make significant change, we need to reconnect our energies. And as energy cannot be created nor destroyed merely transformed from one form into another, why not try to convert this collective energy into a form from which we all benefit? That’s the mission of my life.
